A Furangel's New Year's Surprise Sign From the Rainbow Bridge
You've heard me share stories in the past of some wonderful signs my now beloved furangels have sent me...
❄️ Snow arriving whenever one of my Sibes earned their wings (like Bandit's) or on their birthdays and Rainbow Bridge anniversaries;
❄️ Their figures appearing amongst the clouds when I was thinking of them, especially Harley and Wolfie;
❄️ A foodie ghost howl and phantom paw push from our sweet food-loving chatty Chloe;
❄️ A McDonald's drive-through sign blacking out a little over week after Bandit earned her wings and a huge rainbow four-sided (four Sibes) X (for a kiss) appeared after we lost our fourth Sibe, Bandit. You HAVE to click above and see this one!!! And;
❄️ Then a big snow squall the day Wolfie made his journey to the Rainbow Bridge, followed by another when his ashes and pawprint came home on the Winter Solstice that year.
❄️ Snow has become synonymous with. my FiveSibes and I even have a snow ornament for Wolfie, a crystal one for my FiveSibes, and a bracelet with snowflakes representing them all, all of my beloved snow dogs.
Oh, yes, my beloved furkids have all sent me such clear signs.
"The past beats inside of me like a second heart." ~John Banville
Then, came today, New Year's Day. In between scattered snow flurries and clearing skies that resembled a painting, the sun peered through our trees and it just looked beautiful as I drove up my driveway. I stepped out of Jeep with my cell phone and took some photos. When I came inside and looked at them, my heart swelled. Here is what I saw....
Photo 1: Hello, Sun, peeking through the paintbrush style clouds. But then I noticed something!....do you?
Do you see the rainbow light smear in the clouds to the left? And to the right, in the blue, a possible formation of a running dog? (To the right, just for placement, is my rooftop. The same sky you see my flashback photo of Wolfie standing under in my top photo).
Photo 2: Then, I look at the next photo and again my heart squeezed as I was filled with wonder...what do YOU see now that appeared in the rainbow cloud?
Do you also see the figure of a running white Husky appearing through the rainbow light in the cloud, toward the left heading toward the blue sky? I sure do!
For reference, this is a pic of Wolfie running...only imagine him running up a hill (or over a cloud?)...
Now I know sometimes our eyes can see what our hearts miss, and I had not seen this with my naked eye as I was just shooting a beautiful nature scene until I reviewed the pics...but, oh dear dog, I know in my heart that was my Wolfie boy letting me know he is still with me, tailgating the rest of my pack up there. What a surprise New Year's gift sent from the Rainbow Bridge!
January is also the birthmonth for Gibson (January 6th) and the Pupsters Wolfie, Chloe & Bandit (January 19th).
And yet another factoid...today, New Year's Day, it was reported by National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) that a, "G3 storm reached on New Year's Day of 2025! The second (one) arrived overnight and welcomed New Year’s Day in with a geomagnetic storm!" These geometric storms are also what brings the Northern Lights closer to our area.
So, to recap, here—on New Year's Day, the first day of January and the birth month of Wolfie, Chloe, Bandit, and Gib—is a sign literally painted in the clouds over our house zooming in a rainbow light-filled cloud, with the Northern Lights reaching us during a solar flare, in a photo I took for a totally different purpose, and wound up capturing this at the precise right moment?

That's awesome! I love when our fur angels send us signs that they're still around us. <3
ReplyDeleteWe see and hear those we lost mainly the months right after they pass. As Mom gets better with dealing with the loss the signs are not so prevalent. They still make Mom cry a lot when we get them from Madison but it is also comforting to know she is there. If one looks, one will see the signs sent from those we have lost.
ReplyDeleteThat is just amazing - we see it all too. Sometimes we see what we need too.

I love receiving those messages from the Bridge too and they do make the heart smile. Thanks for joining Angel Brian's Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!
ReplyDeleteWhat comfort it brings to see the signs of those we love and miss.
ReplyDeleteIt's been over a year since Rocco passed, but for a long time we would put out three bowls to feed 3 dogs (down from 4) yet somehow, mysteriously, we always ended up picking up 4. Perhaps it was a sign that he was still with us, or perhaps we somehow forgot to pick up a bowl and then found it later.
ReplyDeleteI know they are still with us. I swear I see our Angel Little Bit often. Hubby does too.
ReplyDeleteThank you for joining the Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous day and weekend. ♥
