#FBF: Sweet Sibe Siblings Share Spoonsful of Ice Cream

Image
FiveSibes #Flashback ~ 2016 ~ Pupsters " Bandit," "Wolfie," and "Chloe"    A spoonful of (nope, not sugar) ice cream can heal all that troubles the soul! Or rather watching the three Pupsters share ice cream off a spoon sure did bring joy to my soul! I love how my FiveSibes could always lovingly share food and treats without arguing, and, especially ice cream! Whenever the ice cream came out it, it was a Sibe party! Watching them share spoonsful (or cups or plates) of ice cream was truly like a spoonful of sugar for me, their proud hu-mom! And, knowing the three littermate Pupsters--Bandit, Wolf, and Chloe--would not only be born together, but coming home with us knowing they would grow up and always be together, never separated, filled me with such joy!     " You were born together, and together you shall be forevermore. But let there be spaces in your togetherness. And let the winds of the heavens dance between you." ~Kahlil Gibran   💛   Me...

Pumpkin Picking Time! 🎃

Image
Woo! It's our fave time of year here at FiveSibes -- Autumn! For today's #FlashbackFriday, we are not going too far down Memory Lane as this is from this year's season! My son-in-law and grandson planted a garden that included pumpkins, so we didn't have to go far for some pretty awesome ones, including a jumbo pumpkin!  Siberian Huskies love going on adventures, and my senior boy, Wolfie, is all ready to go pumpkin picking, so come on along!    "Woo! I spy a pumpkin or two, do you?!"     "Sniff-sniff. Woo...this one is call a snowball pumpkin. It's white like me! As a snow dog, this may be my favorite one!" "I love it when my human brother comes with me to check on the pumpkins! Woo! There's another one! See it?!"     "Wooooo! this is a big one! My hu-family can really carve or paint a whole scene on this one! I think they should make a Husky design - like me! I'd look good with my face on a pumpkin. What do you think?!...

Peep-A-Boo, Leaves, on a Flashback Friday!

Image
Flashback ~ Bandit ~ Autumn 2017   Our Bandit is the silly dog of our pack! Always one to dig out fun, whether it is a pile of leaves or a pile of snow! She is always down for a good laugh! This Flashback photo was taken several years ago when I was calling the dogs in, and I could not find her! Suddenly, I heard the crunch crinkle of leaves and saw her down in our yard tunneling through the leaves from our maple tree! Our silly girl, Bandit! AUTUMN WOODS by James S. Tippett I like the woods In autumn When dry leaves hide the ground, When the trees are bare And the wind sweeps by With a lonesome rushing sound. I can rustle the leaves In autumn And I can make a bed In the thick dry leaves That have fallen From the bare trees Overhead.     You're Invited!   Come join us each week and share your Memory Lane pics from yesteryear or yesterday. A Halloween Trick for Wolfie on #FlashbackFriday!

Image
Flashback ~ Halloween 2012 ~ Wolfie "When witches go riding, and black cats are seen, the moon laughs and whispers, ‘tis near Halloween." ~ Author Unknown    Just scaring up a little pre-Howl-o-ween fun with Wolfie! Can you believe it is almost Halloween? 2020 sure has served up different times for us, but one thing is for sure, our memories will never change.  Time flies, as if on a witch's broom...looking back on our Flashback Fridays, I'm always amazed at the years that have gone by...yet the memories are so clear, as if they were just a few years ago. This photo was taken eight years ago! No trick! Pupster Wolfie was just four here, as were his sisters Bandit, and furangel Chloe. I laid the black cat toy down on his bed, and this was his natural reaction, along with his Wolfie whine! Enjoy those moments.  Take a lot of photos and videos.  One day, those photos and videos will be precious memories you can take out and relive all over again, keeping your dog...
