Woo! It's Puppy Bowl Sunday! When Our Husky Friend Was Starring on the Puppy Bowl X!

Image
W oo! Puppy Bowl Sunday is here! What team are you wooing for this year? All of them?! Puppy Bowl was always a fun day here at #FiveSibes with the TV on, my five having zoomies and snacking on treats with me as we watched the puppies on the TV! The year our furfriend, fellow Husky "Suri" was playing in the game was super special one!      I wore my "Team Suri" T-shirt and my FiveSibes howled their support!    My T-shirt!     On Puppy Bowl Sunday and In honor of our good fur-friend, Little Miss Suri, and her late hu-dad Carl D. Bromberg, I've been able to reproduce my "The Sibe Vibe " podcast on Dog Works Radio ( the episode is no longer available on the original recording platform, Blogtalk, as it has since closed ),  where Carl was my guest on a special Father's Day episode and spoke all about  his love of dogs, Huskies, his photography and rescue work, and of course, all about his girl Suri and their amazing exp...

Celebrating 10 Years of "The Sibe Vibe" Show on Dog Works Radio: "If It's About A Siberian Husky, We'll Chat About It Here!"

In the Siberian Husky "ease" of speaking, "Wooooo!" is something that really transcends time and language. And it fits perfectly for today's #FlashbackFriday post! It was 10 years ago that I began my journey as a writer and host of the Dog Works Radio show, "The Sibe Vibe ! " I can remember so clearly Robert Forto - my producer and owner/producer of a family of Dog Works Radio shows, as well as the Alaskan Mushing team, Team Ineka - approached me with the idea to host a show about my five Siberian Huskies (fondly known as the #FiveSibes) and about the amazing Siberian Husky breed. At first, I balked. I'm a career photojournalist and author, and quite comfy BEHIND the lens of a camera, not in front of a microphone! But, Robert did convince me and what a glorious ride it has been~~from writing "The Five Sibes" catchy theme song to working with a designer on a logo that incorporates my FiveSibes as their cartoon characters featured in my F...

A Health Scare For Bandit

Image
Hello dear Blogville friends! As you know, it's been awhile since we have been blogging. If you follow us on our FiveSibes: Siberian Husky K9 News & Reviews Facebook page,   we do continue our updates, but my muse apparently hit the road! After losing our beloved Harley just three months after losing our sweet Chloe, I needed to take a step back and my creativity went on hold. We also had some big life changes to adjust to and help our Wolfie and Bandit adjust as well, especially to the loss of their beloved sibling and "momma." And...since we last "spoke," the world has certainly changed. So much illness, chaos, unrest, and unhappiness...we sure do hope this post finds you all safe and well.  Many things have happened during our blogging and The Sibe Vibe Dog Works Radio show hiatus, including adjusting to the loss of Chloe and Harley, and a big move! We also recently had a health scare with our girl Bandit. I hope to soon be back blogging more regularl...
