W hile the full "Strawberry Moon," which is the last full moon of the spring (peaks on June 11th) may be beautiful to look at, and...it is t he lowest full Moon for nearly two decades (and is schedule to not appear again until 2043), it can also pose a trigger for some dogs with epilepsy. That is not to say *every* dog with a seizure disorder will be triggered, BUT it is a possibility that if you have an Epi-dog (dog with epilepsy) you may notice more agitation and an increase in seizures before, during, and even up to several days after a full moon.   Triggers *may* occur before, during, or after a phenomenon such as the Full Strawberry Moon. As always, it's good to keep an eye out, and just have your seizure protocol in order and have your Epi First Aid Kit handy. Be Aware. Be Prepared. Don't Panic. A ccording to Newsweek , "For the first time in 19 years, a 'severe' solar storm warning has been issued for several plumes of solar material about to slam into the Earth. These five coronal mass ejections (CMEs) were spat out by a huge and extremely hyperactive sunspot called AR3664 and are due to crash into our atmosphere between May 10 and May 11" (and possibly into May 12). "The last time NOAA announced a Severe (G4) Geomagnetic Storm Watch was in January 2005."  This type of activity can have an impact such as interfering with satellites, the electric grid, the internet, etc., or a cool thing would be seeing the auroa borealis in areas not typically seen.
