Christmastime has always been a favorite, special, and fun time of year for my family; from my childhood home to the present. The FiveSibes have always added so much happiness and laughter to our lives, and they have enjoyed Christmas just as much as we have! I am so thankful for all the memories. "What are you waiting for, Mom? Tur n on the hose!" We are in the middle of a sizzling heat wave here in upstate New York! Today the temperature was 93℉ with a heat index of 122℉! No weather for dogs, especially Siberian Huskies! While my Huskies were all relaxing inside the cool air conditioned house, with quick jaunts outside to do their business, take a quick splash in their pool, and quickly retur back to the cool confines of the house, my thoughts went to my sweet wooly angel Gibson. He did not like the warm weather, let along this brutal heat. Plus, being an Epi-dog, a canine epileptic, heat and overheating can trigger seizures, so keeping him cool was always a top priority, as is keeping all the Huskies cool. Oh, but he did love the pool!
