When a dog has a seizure, their temperature can go dangerously high. It's imperative to keep them cool. Heat/overheating can also be a trigger for some dogs with epilepsy. Inspired by my own beloved Epi-dog, "Gibson," I developed this poster with veterinarian expertise in an effort to help other Epi-dog caregivers know where the vital areas are to place cool packs and pre, during, and post seizure care tips to help your Epi-dog, as it helped mine.

A special note of thanks to Dr. Arnold Rugg, founder of Kingston Animal Hospital and Gibson's lead vet, for not only his amazing care of Gibson, but for always willingly sharing his expertise and for his invaluable input on this poster. Thanks also goes out to artist Cameo Anderson for her depiction of my beautiful Epi-boy, Gibson.
