Bandit's Gift of Snow

Image
Wolfie received a surprise today...a sign from his sister, Bandit--snow!   "Snow!" enjoys Wolfie. One week ago tomorrow, our dear Bandit girl made her journey to the snowy fields north of the Rainbow Bridge, a place where Siberian Huskies go to find their family and friends in the forever snow. Bandit loved the snow, as most "snow dogs" do. Huskies were born for snow. Whenever it snows, it is truly natures gift to the Siberian Husky and many of their dog friends.     In Bandit's memorial post , I mentioned that our girl was strong, tough, and resilient, and like a Husky, was easily distracted by passing birds, fluttering butterflies, buzzing bees, squirrels, opossums, cats, and other dogs. This distraction, I noted, would most likely delay her arrival at the Rainbow Bridge, where our dearly departed Harley, her big brother Gibson, and her pupster sister Chloe would all be waiting for her.      How I picture my four furangels reuniting in those snowy Rainb...

Together Again for Burgers on a #FlashbackFriday!

Image
Flashback Photo: My full FiveSibes pack family, September 2015   I love this photo, and the memory more! It brings me right back to that moment in time as though it were yesterday. I remember coming home with burgers for my FiveSibes, and even before I stepped outside, those super sniffers knew I had food! Even with all their excitement, they always were a very polite pack and waited patiently for me to give them the chow-down OK! Chloe was the sweetest of the pack, but also the loudest when it came to food and definitely the pack chow hound! Notice she is front and center to that burger! When I took this pic, I loved it immediately because their personalities and love of food really shined through! My dear FiveSibes, together again, even if for just a moment. So, if life throws you a burger, eat (and enjoy) it!  You're Invited!   Come join us each week and share your Memory Lane pics from yesteryear or yesterday. Labor Day Weekend #FlashbackFriday: Goodbye to Summer Fun

Image
Flashback: Summer 2015 Wolf & Bandit in Their Pool!   Oh, where, oh, where did summer 2020 go? With all the Covid-19 regs, it hardly felt like summer at all with all our favorite places to go either closed or too crowded to even attempt. Summer 2020 sure has been a strange one, and even faster than usual. It was a big summer for us with relocating, helping Wolfie and Bandit adjust to a new place, the coronavirus...so lots of adjustments. All in all, we are all looking forward to Fall! Bring on the crisp, cooler temps, the gorgeous changing colors of the leaves, sweaters and sweatshirts, boots, and everything pumpkin! My two FiveSibes and I are ready! Are you?   Happy Labor Day Weekend!     "A fallen leaf is no more than a summer's wave goodbye."   ~Author Unknown       You're Invited...to a Blog Hop!     Come join us each week and share your fave Memory Lane pics from yesteryear or yesterday!...
