#FiveSibes "The Sibe Vibe" Celebrating 7th Anniversary With Carol Bryant & A Giveaway!

Image
We here at FiveSibes are pretty excited to be celebrating the 7th Anniversary of my show, "The SibeVibe" on Dog Works Radio, where if it's about a Siberian Husky, canine epilepsy, or all things dog, we'll chat about it! It's been an amazing seven years getting to know and interview so many wonderful canine and Husky loving guests who have shared the mic on air with me and shared their stories and expertise with our listeners! To celebrate, our girl Bandit has a Giveaway announcement...   Be sure to enter our Rafflecopter at end of post! Our very first show and guest was with the lovely folks from the Siberian Husky Rescue of Florida! Every single show over these past seven years has been a highlight for me. A fond memory was meeting my producers Robert and Michele Forto, who in July 2016 traveled from Alaska to meet me here in the lower 48 to do a live broadcast of our 4th Anniversary show together! A proud moment for the show was having one of my epis...

Wolf, Siberian Husky Nurse on Duty!

Image
Wolf, Siberian Husky Nurse (S.H.N.) on Duty! My boy, Wolfie, (Gibson's little bro) has been living up to his "working breed" classification as he has been a very good furry nurse keeping an eye on me while I recuperate from acute bronchitis. He sleeps right on my feet, and hasn't let me out of his sight!   🐾 🐾 It's (Almost) Wordless Wednesday!

Where Have We Been?!

Image
Miss us? We sure do hope so! We all missed you! First up, we are all okay...now. But, we've had a rough time lately. I needed to take a step back from blogging to focus on family as there have been some serious health issues with two of our family members, and sadly, one of them, my father-in-law, who suffered from two strokes has now been diagnosed with B-cell non-Hodgkin lymphoma and has just begun aggressive chemo treatments. Then, one of our FiveSibes, our alpha queen Harley, had a sudden health setback that I hope is now under control, which I will be blogging about in an upcoming post. For now, please know we are back! There are a lot of things coming up to share, including a recap of Harley's recent episode, plus some exiting news, as well as our 3rd Annual FiveSibes™ #LiveGibStrong K-9 Epilepsy Awareness Purple Day® Blog Hop where I hope you will join us and "go purple"then link up with us, our two co-hosts, and others across the globe on March 26 in supp...

Flashback Friday: A Summer Book Signing With Buddy, the (Rescued) Christmas Husky

Image
Meeting Buddy, the Christmas Husky! This Flashback Friday is an exciting one! As many of you know, one of the books I've written is based on the true story of a sick, abused and abandoned Siberian Husky who was rescued on Christmas morning back in 2011 as he wandered out onto a road and right into the path of oncoming traffic. He was dubbed "The Christmas Husky" because it was on Christmas Day and through the help of a Good Samaritan named Geneva, this boy (who was named Buddy), was quite literally saved and , with the help of online "Team Buddy," embarked upon a new journey that brought him to his foster mom states away and filled his life with much hope, love, and happiness from across the world, that still continues to this very day!  His is a tale for all time , not just Christmas time! You can catch up with Buddy over on his Buddy, the Christmas Husky Facebook page ! Be sure to tel l him the FiveSibes sent you! And , of course, you c...
