Gibson with Kathleen and her beautiful portrait of him ! Did you ever have that moment when you were totally surprised by someone else’s thoughtfulness? It’s a wonderful feeling that is difficult to put into words. Perhaps author Harold Kushner says it best, “When you carry out acts of kindness you get a wonderful feeling inside. It is as though something inside your body responds and says, yes, this is how I ought to feel.” So true. And it bears the same for the recipient as well. I know that feeling, and yes, it feels good!
