#FBF: Pool Side Sibe Vibes

FiveSibes #Flashback ~ July 2010 ~ "Wolfie"     ~Unknown   It's true, every picture does indeed tell a story ~ and I remember this moment clear as day...but, I find it hard to believe it was 16 years ago ! How can that be? I still cannot wrap my head around that! Oh, but what joy it brings me to remember these special moments (aren't they all)?! I could close my eyes and drift back to this very moment with Wolfie and my FiveSibes, who were also on the deck waiting to get a-splashing!    It was always so much fun when the weather turned warmed and their kiddie pools were brought out on the deck and filled up with water! They would get so excited and have wild zoomies through, over, and around the pools! I can still hear all the splashing!   What do you think my Wolfie was thinking of in this photograph?!   đź’™ Memories Are Visits For The Heart  đź’™          Join in our weekly #FlashbackFriday Blog & Social Media Ho...

FBF: Sweet Siblings Sharing Summer Snacks

FiveSibes #Flashback ~ "Wolfie" ~ Summer 2021   O h, be still my heart! I was looking over photographs of my grandchildren with Wolfie that I took while also was writing Wolfie , What Is The Rainbow Bridge?  I came across a few (dozen) photos from one August day in 2021 when we were all hanging out in our new backyard, and in between dashes through the sprinkler and dips in the kiddie pool, my grandkids and Wolfie took a snack break. Wolfie, being the last remaining Sibe of my beloved FiveSibes, adored the kids. They were his new happy place, and where they went, he went. Pictured above, all three stopped summer playing to enjoy a quick snack of freshly popped popcorn, which my grandchildren happily shared a few bites with Wolfie (before I stepped in with dog biscuits!) Oh, the wonderful memories we made with our furry best friend. They will forever fill my heart with joy.    “The most powerful times in our lives can be the time between times, or (in) life’s ...

FiveSibes #Flashback ~ April 2011 ~ Harley, Wolfie, and Bandit   OH, MY DOGS! If looks could talk! Well, they sure did in this moment! I always loved when my FiveSibes would rush across the deck to greet me when I came home. However, these were the looks I received one day from Harley, Wolfie, and Bandit when I dared to leave for a quick errand! Good thing I brought treats home so all was quickly forgiven.   FiveSibes #Flashback ~ "Wolfie" ~ December 2020   “Time cannot be packaged and ribboned and left under trees for Christmas morning. Time can’t be given. But it can be shared.” ~Cecelia Ahern     Little did I know this would be our last Christmas with Wolfie. Although the following year he was here up until December 6th, the day he left for the Rainbow Bridge, we did get to do photos with a Christmas theme, go out in the snow, and just be. It's so bittersweet to have lost him...and 10 years ago his big bro Gibson...both during the holiday season. But I try to remember the precious moments, the fun moments...of how much they loved the Christmas season. And that is the feelings I carry in my heart, especially when Christmastime is near.   So take those photos.  Play in the snow.  Decorate the tree.  Wrap gifts.  Bake doggy cookies. Nap under the tree together.  Love. Laugh. Live. For those precious times spent together will one day become...
