FiveSibes #Flashback ~ July 2010 ~ "Wolfie"     ~Unknown   It's true, every picture does indeed tell a story ~ and I remember this moment clear as day...but, I find it hard to believe it was 16 years ago ! How can that be? I still cannot wrap my head around that! Oh, but what joy it brings me to remember these special moments (aren't they all)?! I could close my eyes and drift back to this very moment with Wolfie and my FiveSibes, who were also on the deck waiting to get a-splashing!    It was always so much fun when the weather turned warmed and their kiddie pools were brought out on the deck and filled up with water! They would get so excited and have wild zoomies through, over, and around the pools!  FiveSibes #Flashback ~ "Bandit" ~ March 2015   "I reckon the hours     by the journey of sunlight         across the room's floor." ~Cave Outlaw O ne of my FiveSibes favorite indoor hangouts was in our kitchen nook under the booth! Any given day you'd find one or all of them stretched out under the bench seats, paws askew, and just relaxing and snoozing. When they first come in, they each had their favorite spots and would race to it before one of the others could take it. Eventually, they all knew each other's favorite spot. They loved this space so much, I bought big pillow-style dog beds for them and slid it under the benches!  On this particular day, Bandit was happy just soaking up some sun rays shining in through the nook window.   FiveSibes Flashback ~ Wolfie ~ February 2022   "You are no longer where you were, but you are everywhere that I am." ~Victor Hugo   Oh, how I loved walks with my Huskies. Even more so when they were snowy walks. Pictured here, is Wolfie, and oh, he just loved the snow, as did all of my FiveSibes. Snow walks were the absolute best! Now, whenever it snows, I always think of my beloved FiveSibes having snow zoomies across our backyard, or going for pack walks in the fluffy white snow. Then there were the precious walks with Wolfie and Bandit after we moved and we were able to have mini-adventures exploring the new land all around us. Then one day, it was just me and my baby boy, and the great snowy north country strolls that helped to soothe both of our grieving souls. Now those strolls are no more, but all of these precious memories I will always hold dear, especially as the snow flies.     💛 Memories Are Visits For the Heart 💛       Join Us...

  Oh, my silly Gibson! To know him was to absolutely fall in love with him. There was not a person this big almost 100-pound fluffy boy didn't like. And when he loved, he loved deeply! He fell hard for Harley and was inseparable from her his whole life. He was my heart dog and my spirit animal. Gibson was truly a lover, not a fighter. Having Canine Epilepsy and all  the issues that goes with the medications and the disease, he was a vet frequent flyer, and boy did he love those wonderful and caring vets and techs. On walks, he'd lead me right over to the veterinarian hospital's back door! He especially loved it when the caring techs came to our house to give him laser treatments for his hind end weakness (due to the epilepsy medications). And my boy was a sucker for a pretty gal! He would ply them with his infamous Gibbie kisses! And they sure returned his love! Gibson was also quite the jokester! Yes, dogs most definitley can have a sense of humor, and my boy Gib sure did...
