 FiveSibes #Flashback ~ "Harley" ~ Circa 2012 Our beautiful, wild, smart, and wonderful alpha queen Harley. It's so hard to believe that this petite girl with a huge personality who loved to roughhouse with Gibson (who she knew was smitten with her), the same amazing Husky who stepped in and became momma to our three pupsters—has now been the Rainbow Bridge for seven years on September 13th. As you can tell from this week's #FBF photo, Harley loved to play—Tug O'War, and especially Fetch! Whether it was a toy, a ball, or a frisbee, she was quite serious about her sport! She could catch on two legs (as in the pic) or all fours! It was always a fun and vigorous game...until it was time for this hu-mom rest. Rest was not in Harley's vocabulary! She would play until the sun set and beyond if she could. She'd make these loud grumbles and huffs while playing, I can still hear her. Oh, what fun we had.  "My dog is not just a pet, he's a source of endless...

    Our beautiful #pupster and chatty chowhound, “Chloe,” the absolute sweetheart of our #FiveSibes who never met a treat or food she didn’t like, made her sudden journey to the #RainbowBridge 7 years ago today due to sudden liver failure.  I think Mother Nature knew as it rained all day here, like tears from Heaven.    ☔️   🐕 Chloe was my daughter’s baby, and while I prefer to focus today on her beauty, charm, loyalty, sweetness, great enthusiasm to talk and eat…and oh, how she rallied back after two emergency CCL surgeries after blowing them out at the same time.  What an amazing patient she was after that scary surgery...when we carried her in, but with the aid of a sling harness, she walked out two days later on rebuilt hind legs. She was truly an ideal patient, and healed well under my daughter’s care.    I still felt the need to recognize today, the day she had suddenly earned her wings after she stopped doing what she loved ...

  FiveSibes #Flashback ~ July 2010 ~ "Wolfie"     ~Unknown   It's true, every picture does indeed tell a story ~ and I remember this moment clear as day...but, I find it hard to believe it was 16 years ago ! How can that be? I still cannot wrap my head around that! Oh, but what joy it brings me to remember these special moments (aren't they all)?! I could close my eyes and drift back to this very moment with Wolfie and my FiveSibes, who were also on the deck waiting to get a-splashing!    It was always so much fun when the weather turned warmed and their kiddie pools were brought out on the deck and filled up with water! They would get so excited and have wild zoomies through, over, and around the pools!
