Paws for Purple Day for Epilepsy

Are you wearing purple? PurpleDay.org We sure hope so because today is Purple Day® for Epilepsy Awareness! There is so much to share all in an effort to promote awareness for those who live with Epilepsy--humans, canines, cats, horses, even the Easter Bunny (yes, rabbits)! We here at FiveSibes will be focusing on Canine Epilepsy and our #LiveGibStrong K-9 Epilepsy Awareness Campaign, where we share information, resources, and support to other families who are on this journey with their Epi-dogs.   Woo! International #EpilepsyDay: #LiveGibStrong

Today is International Epilepsy Day. A joint initiative by the International Bureau for Epilepsy (IBE) and the International League Against Epilepsy (ILAE), Epilepsy Day is a global event takes place on the second Monday of February each year to highlight Epilepsy and those who live with it and their families. Here at FiveSibes, where we highlight Canine Epilepsy, we are choosing to celebrate the #yesIcan the me and our continual message of our #LiveGibStrong campaign - that dogs can~and DO~live happy, full lives with Canine Epilepsy. As many of you know, my Epi-dog (epileptic dog) and K9 Epilepsy Ambassado r , Gibson, was diagnosed at age three and he so loved life!
