#EpilepsyDay: Celebrating Epi-Dogs by Joining in #Paws4Purple to #LiveGibStrong!

International #EpilepsyDay is the second Monday of February. According to InternationalEpilepsyDay.org, this day is " a joint initiative created by the International Bureau for Epilepsy (IBE) and the International League Against Epilepsy (ILAE), is a global event celebrated annually on the 2nd Monday of February, to promote awareness on epilepsy right around the world." You can celebrate the day any way you wish in order to bring awareness of Epilepsy - in both humans and canines - to others. We here at FiveSibes are continuing with our furangel Gibson's advocacy #LiveGibStrong legacy to help educate others and continue to bring awareness to Canine Epilepsy and how these amazing dogs embrace life, even with seizures. Epilepsy Day: Debut of "Gib Nibs" to Benefit The Wally Foundation & A Treat Giveaway!

  Today, on international Epilepsy Day, we are so excited to announce the debut of the brand new “Gib Nibs” – a hand-crafted, gluten-free dog treat made by Nanette Willis, a Husky mom, United States Military wife, and the owner and baker at Sassy’s Goodies (with the Epi-dog (epileptic dog) in mind. After several discussions between Nanette and I on what Gibson had in his diet, and the ingredients that could and should not be in an Epi-dog’s treat, Gib Nibs was born! Today Marks the 1st International Epilepsy Day

  Today is the very first International Epilepsy Day, and we here at FiveSibes, continue our awareness of Canine Epilepsy, and also for people who have Epilepsy. International Epilepsy Day was created by the International Bureau For Epilepsy (IBE) and the The International League Against Epilepsy (ILAE) "This world day for epilepsy will be a major step in improving epilepsy awareness in every region of the world, and will also highlight the urgent need for increased research into epilepsy.This joint initiative of the IBE and the ILAE will be a major event celebrated across the globe in the 138 of countries in which IBE and ILAE are represented.
