"Those we love don't go away,
They walk beside us every day,
Unseen, unheard, but always near,
Still loved, still missed and very dear."
~Unknown

Today is another of those bittersweet days...it's my dear Pupsters (sisters Bandit and Chloe and brother Wolfie) 18th birthday. And with it, brings back so many memories of those special days of watching them grow up together from puppies to senior dogs and all the wonderful days in between. They, along with Gibson and Harley, are always and forever in my heart and I always embrace their special dates, and while I miss them all so very much, how lucky I was to have them all in my life.

And, as always, they sent me a sign...snow! Right at 12 noon, shortly after I posted this! And no snow is in the forecast. They sent me birthday snow! 🌈❄️🐕🐕🐕💞

Thank you, my dear Pupsters!

Waiting for me finish their favorite cake - a vanilla ice cream bone-shaped cake with treat crumbles on top!

What a wonderful chapter in life that was, and in my memories, will always be. To know they were raised together, never to be separated, was something I hold dear. They bonded so well with Harley who became their surrogate momma, and to big brother Gibson, who they loved to snuggle up against. It was a dream era for sure.

How it began...

The babies with "Momma" Harley! (She was not their birth mother, but she was such an amazing surrogate mom to them.)

Happy 18th Birthday

Backyard snow zoomies were the best!

The beautiful sibling faces that greeted me every day after work! They were just one-year-olds here.

My Pupsters always together and always so photo ready!

Rot-ohhhh. They loved their mud puddles (except Chloe! she preferred a pile of fresh-smelling clean laundry!)

The Pupsters as book cartoon characters in my FiveSibes Tales!

Woo! They sure did love their packmates Harley and Gibson and they all loved birthday parties!
And I sure did, too, and will always.

My Dear Pupsters Wolfgang, Chloe, and Bandit...
Happy Birthday! I so miss you three kids, along with Gibson and Harley, and all of your shenanigans, silliness, and love. Everything now is a memory, and I'm so glad we made so many wonderful ones over all the years together. Our time together went by so fast--too fast. Go have some wonderful extra snow zoomies with Harley and Gibson for your Birthday, my beloved Pupsters! Thank you for sending that snow my way just a few minutes ago! I hope the furangels have a lovely ice cream cake for you to enjoy.
I miss and love you, always and forever.
Your FiveSibesMom

And for those who wonder if littermates can truly be raised together, or heard about the "littermate syndrome," I say please don't let it stop you from welcoming siblings into your home. Of course puppies can be raised together! As you could always see from my posts, my Pupsters were able to spend their whole lives together as a loving, bonded family along with our Harley and Gibson. They loved to eat, sleep, snuggle, and play together! You can read my article in 4Knines about raising siblings together! Just click on the image below!
