Earth Day: Invest In Our Planet by Reducing Your Pet's Carbon Pawprint

Image
Today is Earth Day and it's our #FlashbackFriday Blog Hop! In honor of both, I'm sharing a Flashback photo to a past Earth Day of our alpha queen, Harley, having fun running in the green grass on this planet of ours that we all need to work together to keep healthy for generations to come. "This is the moment to change it all — the business climate, the political climate, and how we take action on climate. Now is the time for the unstoppable courage to  preserve and protect our health, our families, and our livelihoods," it states on EarthDay.org. "For Earth Day 2022, we need to act (boldly), innovate (broadly), and implement (equitably).  It’s going to take all of us. All in. Businesses, governments, and citizens — everyone accounted for, and everyone accountable . A partnership for the planet."   To help do our part again this year, I am sharing a few of our #FiveSibes tips to help reduce your pet's carbon pawprint:   🐾  Walk you dog w...

The Pupsters, littermates Bandit, Chloe, and Wolfie having some fun snow zoomies with their big brother Gibson. Truly miss these days. I loved how these Sibe siblings were the very best of friends always. Some human siblings could really learn some valuable loyalty lessons from our dogs siblings. ♥︎ Memories are visits for the Heart ♥︎   Joining in the Sunday Selfie Blog Hop!     Back to our Home Page and Don't Forget to Visit Our Other Pages, including Our #LiveGibStrong On-Line K-9 Epilepsy Resource Page.     Flashback ~ 2021 ~ Pupsters (and Jokesters) Bandit & Wolfie   Oh, my dear Pupsters. This brother and sister team could sure get into a little mischief! All we were missing from this was the third Pupsketeer, Chloe, who sadly and suddenly, left us before this adventure. We had just moved to our new place and exploring was our thing! Now, just what do you think these two were telling secrets about?! Oh, fun times. Sure miss them and their mischief!  And in today's world, I think we all could use something to make us smile.  Hope this brought you one.   ♥︎ Memories are Visits for the Heart. ♥︎         The Linky tool will open all week for you to join us in the Blog Hop and share pics from yesteryear or yesterday, include our badge and *link back to us*, and  be sure to hop along and visit the other blogs and don't forget to leave a nice comment!  Happy Friday! A Sled Dog Joke For April Fools' Day!

Did you know that one of the ideas behind April Fools' Day is, according to History.com, that there is "also speculation that April Fools’ Day was tied to the vernal equinox, or first day of spring in the Northern Hemisphere, when Mother Nature fooled people with changing, unpredictable weather." “You will do foolish things, but do them with enthusiasm.”   ~Sidonie-Gabrielle Colette There are many different theories and thoughts on where the origins of April Fools' Day came from, but since we are all about Siberian Huskies and northern breed dogs, and we celebrate the memori...

Our 7th Annual #LiveGibStrong Purple Day® for Epilepsy Blog Hop. #GoPurple With Us!

FiveSibes™ K9 Epilepsy Ambassadog & the Beautiful Face of #LiveGibStrong ~ "Gibson"       "People affected by epilepsy will change the face of epilepsy."   ~Anita Kaufmann Foundation U.S.A. Global Partner of Purple Day®   Those words in the above quote shared by the Anita Kaufmann Foundation are so very true. When a beloved pet is diagnosed with epilepsy, it needs to become our mission to advocate for them. In years past, a diagnosis of epilepsy often meant a recommendation for euthanasia. Thankfully, that is not the case today! There are lots of resources, information, and treatments to help manage epileptic seizures in dogs. Find out everything you can about Canine Epilepsy, and become informed on the topic so that you can have intelligent question-and-answer discussions with your veterinarian about what the best management care of your dog should be. Epi-dogs can-- and DO --live happy lives, and can certainly do whatever other dogs who do not have...
