In addition to the religious definition, "faith" also means : “Confidence or trust in a person or thing” and a “belief that is not based on proof.”   Faith, the name, also means confidence, trust, belief. Confidence. Trust. Belief.  Three simple words that can shape the decisions we make and the lives we lead. Faith is something our pets place in us, which is an honor and a privilege. We sometimes embark upon a journey with an unclear path, armed only with the faith that we are on the best path for our situation. Today, I’d like to share with you an inspiring story about embarking upon such a journey, where confidence, trust, and belief play key roles, coincidentally with a beautiful Siberian Husky girl named “Faith” and her hu-mom, Jeanette.  "Starbucks, Mom?"   Her name and the definition have joined together as partners on a journey of health and possibilities. Faith, whose beautiful face reflects that of youngster...

"Best Birthday cake everrrr!" The FiveSibes here...this is one of the times during the year we sneak into Mom's writing studio and take over her blog! For today's Flashback Friday, we'd like to post a few pics of what Hu-Mom says was "the best Birthday cake everrrrr!" from last year! It featured cool custom-made Huskies of each of us)! It was soooo good (Mom shared a bit of the inside with us. She also kept all of the cake Husky figures, shellacked them, and they are in her curio cabinet)! You may have heard about the “Itchy 21 Huskies" backyard breeder case in Oklahoma, where there was a hoarding situation with 21 Huskies and/or Husky mixes who were in extremely poor health, including parasites and a contagious form of mange. Pet Angels Rescue network worked tirelessly, along with the Sheriff’s department, to convince the owners of these dogs to surrender them so the rescue could see to it that they received the urgent health care they obviously needed. Thanks to the Siberian Husky Care and Referral Service, we learned of this situation and have joined them to share this story, and hopefully our readers will share as well.
