It's National Rescue Dog Day!

Image
Woo! Did you know that today is National Rescue Dog Day — an official day to recognize all the beautiful dogs who have been or need to be rescued, fostered, and adopted? While my focus here is on Siberian Huskies, mixes, and northern breed dogs, I've had so many dogs over my lifetime, many of them rescues...and all breeds and mixes.   #Flashback ~   FiveSibes l-r: Wolfie, Bandit, Chloe, Harley ~ 2018      This week will be a short and sweet #FBF as I am definitely feeling way under the weather. I thought sharing the above photo from 2018 was perfect when my sweet FiveSibes gathered all around when I was...yup, you guessed it...sick. Oh, how I miss my "nurses."    As a result of not feeling well at all this week, I am a tad behind on commenting on blog posts and sharing posts on our social media. As soon as I'm feeling back to myself (hopefully sooner rather than later), I''ll be sure to pop around and visit. Without my furry nurses, it may take longer to recuperate.   Tell Me: Do your pets instincitvely gather around you when you are under the weather?    “When humans get sick, dogs become medicine with fur — soothing our hearts long before our bodies catch up.”  ~Unknown     JOIN US  for our weekly #FlashbackFriday Blog & Social Media H...
