W oo! Puppy Bowl Sunday is here! What team are you wooing for this year? All of them?! Puppy Bowl was always a fun day here at #FiveSibes with the TV on, my five having zoomies and snacking on treats with me as we watched the puppies on the TV! The year our furfriend, fellow Husky "Suri" was playing in the game was super special one!      I wore my "Team Suri" T-shirt and my FiveSibes howled their support!    My T-shirt!     On Puppy Bowl Sunday and In honor of our good fur-friend, Little Miss Suri, and her late hu-dad Carl D.   FiveSibes #Flashback ~ 2016 ~ Bandit, Wolfie, Harley & Chloe W e here, as many others in the northeastern United States are currently   under an "Extreme Cold Watch".. brrrrrrrr. .. with cautions to not be outside as the temps will be down to -15℉ in some areas here. 🥶 This is by far the coldest winter on record so far for me!    It made me think of my FiveSibes and while they were "snow dogs," I'd never let them outside in frigid temps, except to do their business. They loved to be out, but on super cold days, Chloe (who I swore could've been a tropical Husky as she loved the sun and warmth) would lead the pack out for an uber-quick pee, and then she'd trot right back in as fast as her repaired legs could carry her and she'd race into their favorite spotn the kitchen nook under the table and benches--and she'd grab the spot in the corner. Apparently, that was the coveted place preferred by her sister Bandit and our alpha Harley! Gibson...

  FiveSibes #Flashback ~ Wolfie ~ February 2020    A h, memories truly are visits for my heart. This photo brings back the time when we explored our new property under a layer of snow. The challenge was our new place was not yet "Husky-proofed" like our previous property. It was new for us and for our remaining two senior Huskies of my beloved FiveSibes — pupsters Wolfie and Bandit. We all had adjustments to make, including our Huskies. They went from a fully-enclosed yard where they ran free, to being on a leash until the new place was fenced in. I worried at first how this new place would be for them...a different yard—one where Gibson, Harley, and Chloe had never stepped a paw on—so not only was it a new layout of the land, but it was also sadly without our other beloved three Sibes, as they had already made their journeys to the Rainbow Bridge long before we moved.    This photo was in January when we first arrived.
