Epi Book Update! Gibson's sister Bandit has been giving me a paw with editing! She's taking a conference call here to check on a grammar question! Spent time at my printer's yesterday reviewing books styles for the book and I am armed with several designs and am very excited! I am also working on an Email list to all those whose stories were submitted and are being included and will be sending out a test Email in the near future. I will also be posting a list of all Epi-dogs whose stories are to be included at a later date so those who submitted stories can check to be sure they are included. We are now paw-deep in the editing process and had to take stock out in Kleenex! Such poignant stories of beautiful and amazing dogs. Will keep updates coming! Today is my beautiful Mom's - the FiveSibes Hu-Nanny's - 92nd Birthday! She is such an amazing woman and has been the best, most loving mother, mentor, best friend, coffee-drinking partner, conversationalist, and my inspiration throughout my life. So many gifts she has given me throughout my life and still gives ~ love, understanding, support, and compassion. My Mom has always been an animal lover her whole life and a wonderful role model! "Mustang" Dakota Red of the Beck Family   While we are all watching the fireworks this July 4th, the two brightest, most colorful and beautiful displays will be these two shining Sibe stars letting us know they are celebrating North of the Rainbow Bridge , and will always be with their loved ones in spirit.

Woooooo! It's officially summer in the Northern hemisphere...a time of splashing in pools, barbequing delish foods, romping in the fields, playing in the surf, going for car rides, exploring on vacation, catching frisbees in the park, chasing bugs, eating ice cream, burying bones, snoozing in front of the fan, watching fireworks, and lazing in the shade.  It's also a great time to photograph our beloved canine companions doing what they like best doing the great Summer season.
