#FlashbackFriday: Memories of FiveMcSibes πŸ’šπŸ€

My first St. Paddy's Day was yesterday without any of my beloved FiveSibes...they say the "firsts" are the most difficult...and it's true...and I do so miss my boy, Wolfie. It's just shy of four months since joined my other Huskies, north of the Rainbow Bridge, so I a still have a year of "firsts" to cry my way through...BUT, today, I want to focus my #FlashbackFriday on remembering them as they were, beautiful, silly, fun, loving, and always so happy. That is a true testament to the spirit of a dog, and to my Gibson, Harley, Wolfie, Chloe, and Bandit. To honor that spirit today, I'm fondly looking back at some fun times with my FiveMcSibes on St. Paddy's..after all...isn't it a day of wearin' green, gathering together, and having some fun?

Was there ever a more dapper Sibe than my boy Gibson?

To encompass the sillyness of my FiveMcSibes, this still from a fun St. Patrick's Day JibJab video brings it home! (It's "bark beer" in those mugs)! I do wish I could locate the original video I purchased...one day I will and will, of course, share it here!

And what's a holiday without some romance? This is a fun memory of Wolfie and his Irish lass, Faith DaBaldo. I'd like to think they are both nuzzling up there, north of the Rainbow Bridge, sharing a Sibe-rish kiss or two!

“May God give you
for every storm a rainbow,
for every tear, a smile,
for every care a promise
and a blessing in each trial.
For every problem life sends,
a faithful friend to share,
for every sigh a sweet song
and an answer for each prayer.”

  1. What a great collection of McSibe St. Patty's Day pictures. I understand the "cry your way through the year" after you've lost a heart dog. It's been 5 years for me, and the tears still come. Amy
