Sibe Selfie of Gibson on a #FlashbackFriday

  #FiveSibes Flashback ~ Gibson ~ 2015

Gibson. My heart dog. My soul dog. My forever spirit guide. How do I love thee? There are way too many ways to count! I have always loved this photo I took of him (of course it wasn't a real selfie, but it could have been!). We had just had our kitchen remodeled, including a beautiful tile floor to keep the FiveSibes all nice and comfy while inside in the a/c on the hot days. As you can see from the look of bliss on my beautiful boy's face—he loved the cool floor! It became one of his favorite spots on a hot day. Little did I know...he would only be with me for another month after this photo was taken before hemangiosarcoma stole him from me just shy of his tenth birthday. I will forever be grateful for him. Diagnosed with idiopathic epilepsy shortly after his third birthday, this fluffy boy never let seizures, ataxia, bromide toxicity, nor a torn CCL stop him from his zest and joy for life. Gibbie was truly an inspirational dog, and our bond will be forever. 💜 However long we have our beloved pets, we are truly the lucky ones.
