My Dog-Tested Petful Review on Debut of CUDDLY Salmon Dog Food That Gives Back to Shelter Dogs

I'm happy to bring news to you on this FiveSibes Newsy Tuesday of a new dog food I recently had the opportunity to review. In exchange for a five-pound bag of CUDDLY's new Salmon and Rice Dog Kibble, I gave them my honest review. Since my FiveSibes have all earned their wings, I called upon a friend's dog, "Arlo," who met my Wolfie in 2020 when Arlo was just a pup and my boy was 12. 
 
Let me introduce you to handsome Arlo! He is an 85-pound, four-year-old Boxer. His hu-mom Cassandra, was kind enough to loan him to me to do some taste testing, and Arlo was eager to participate! Arlo occasionally comes down to visit me at my house, and I always have a container of treats just for him! So, I knew he'd be a perfect taste tester for this new dog food!

I'll leave you with this thought before you head over to read my review at Petful, if this was around a few years back when I had my beloved fab FiveSibes, who I did feed a then top-brand kibble along with my homemade healthy add-ins, I would have definitely fed them this. And iif Arlo's enthusiasm is any clue, they, too—like him—would have enjoyed it, especially since salmon was their favorite flavor.

    I always love reading about new foods on the market, especially fishy ones as they work the best with Nili and giving to a rescue doubles my interest. Thanks for the great review and am going to check them out more

#PrayersForHarley - Dewclaw Tumor

Dewclaws. Such an unnecessary evil for a dog. In August, I noticed Harley limping. At 11-and-a-half, she is a bit stiff-legged at times from arthritis, but this was a more pronounced limp and she was having an extra tough time sitting down. She seemed very uncomfortable. She was also becoming a bit snarley, especially when I was touching her paw, which is something that never typically bothers her. Upon further checking, I noticed an odd lump around her dewclaw on her right leg, thinking it was possibly a pulled dewclaw, maybe a splinter, thistle, or even a bee sting , she became extremely agitated when I touched it.    (Warning: some photos may be somewhat graphic, but I am sharing for educational purposes).   Oddity beneath the dew claw.   Off to the vet we went. The Rainbow Bridge Welcomes A New FurAngel - Buddy, the Christmas Husky - A Forever Symbol of Hope for Rescued Dogs

My beloved Gibson is there. As is my Chelsey, Sandy, kitty Smokie, bunny Sunny, my fox Ah, many horses, and so many others pets. We have many furfriends who have also crossed The Rainbow Bridge. Born on March 10, 2005, our beautiful alpha queen, pupster surrogate momma, and my daughter's and our first Siberian Husky,  turns 14½ today! You may be wondering why are we celebrating her half birthday? Because, as heartbreaking as it is, we now know she will not be here in March to celebrate her 15th Birthday as I once had hoped.
