A Frighteningly Fun Howloween! Dog Bandanas, Pet Pumpkin Stencils & Purple Pumpkins!

 #FiveSibes #FlashbackPhoto ~ Halloween 2012 ~ Chloe

Happy Howloween Time! My FiveSibes loved this time of year, from the crisp runs through the maple leaves to the making of pumpkin dog treats, the energy level of my five Siberian Huskies was always high! It was conrtagious, too! Watching them play and zoomie through the leaves was so much fun! And I loved having them in my kitchen to taste test the treats I'd bake for them, it was always a wonderful time that brought smiles to my face and yes, they had happy Sibe smiles for miles.

BANDANAS

Now how cute is this dog Halloween bandana?! I bought this for Wolfie and he looked adorable in it! They actually have 3 different designs now!

If you would rather make your own bandana, check out this Hound Hugger DIY video with directions to make a cute festive bandana for your pup!

Another great place for really wonderful homemade customizable bandanas is by Doggo Deluxe. No commissions for this share, but I've ordered from her for my boy Wolfie and loved it!

PUMPKIN CARVING STENCILS

Pumpkin carving is always fun! And what a great way to include your beloved dog...to carve a portrait of them (or at least their breed)...and then pureed up the pumpkin guts for some yummy treats for your dog to eat! As you can see from above, our alpha queen Harley was pretty excited about the carved pumpkins! Think that one in the middle looks like her when she was running?

With lots of thanks to Tails of the Tundra Siberian Husky Rescue (who sadly have now closed their doors) for the wonderful list of FREE Siberian Husky pumpkin carving stencils! Check out the list of fabulous DIY stencils HERE!

  3. These are great ideas for Halloween celebrations with your dog! The bandanas are just too cute!!! The stuffed Husky toy is adorable! And yes, Bandit and the toy do look alike. I've said it before and I'll say it again, I absolutely LOVE the purple pumpkin idea! It's genius! Besides the fact that I love purple, it's genius because it brings awareness to EpiDogs. No matter the day, holiday, or event, you always are a warrior for Gibson and EpiDogs. I admire your strength and courage to carry on the legacy each day.
Of course the Halloween safety tips are critical and spot on! I love it!
