  1. Great reminder post but it upsets me that we have to remind pet parents every time on what to do as so many get lost and are afraid of it all on this day and we should be protecting them and keeping them safe

  2. Those evil fireworks. They are legal here so they'll probably start shooting them off tonight and go through next week.

  3. WOW!!! Harley was pretty calm with those flashy glasses glowing. What a great girl!
Oh, those fireworks! I'm dreaming of the day there are only drone and laser shows. It will be so much better for pets, wildlife, and the environment. Great tips on how to keep our pets safe! Henry has decided his crate is his safe zone and crawls in there when there's something scary. He'll be in there on the evening of July 4th I have no doubt. I'm sharing your tips and hope that folks respect their pets and other people's pets as well this holiday weekend. Wishing you a happy and safe July 4th!

  5. Oh my goodness, Harley looked so beautiful, and quite chic, in her flashing patriotic glasses! I Love that video!! Excellent 4th of July safety tips too, I really like the baby monitor idea. I hadn't thought of that - it's perfect if you're out in the yard BBQ-ing and your dog is inside in a "safe" room.
