Adopt A Husky Minnesota will not place dogs outside of its geographic area. We will accept applications from ND, SD, IA, and WI, but cannot guarantee to adopt to bordering states.

All About?
It's about becoming a "village" to help rescues, homeless Huskies, and all abandoned pets of any species in need. It's also to share breed information to help educate folks so they understand the traits, habits, and needs of specific breeds, such as the Siberian Husky, BEFORE they welcome one into their home to ensure the home will be a forever one. While initially this was a blog hop, due to lack of participation, it is no longer a hop, but definitely a feature that will be reappearing with the hopes that you will share our blog post with others to help these beautiful homeless Huskies, Siberian Husky mixes, Malamutes, and other northern breed dogs find their loving forever families!

ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful idea and I agree there are so many needing homes the more we speak out the more people hear and will adopt not shop, Huskies are so beautiful and deserve happy homes
ReplyDeleteThese Huskies are all so beautiful! I love them all. I wish I could add another Husky to our family, but maybe in a couple of years. Our two dogs are keeping us very busy! Sharing.

ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful service you are providing with Waiting Wednesday! I LOVE it! It's wonderful how you have each dog's photo with the home that is the best fit. That's always critical. Sometimes people will fall in love with the "look" of a dog and not think about if it's the best fit for the dog or them. Truly a wonderful service for the huskies in waiting. I also love how you spotlight other ways folks can help with fostering, volunteering, donating, and fundraising. This is especially a great idea with Adopt A Husky Minnesota, since they only adopt to local area folks. You are so right, it does take a village to raise or rescue a husky or any animal in need. Although this is a great service, I really do hope that in the near future, it simply won't be needed because all the huskies (heck all the animals) looking for great forever homes will have found them. For now, I'm sharing this with all my dog parents!
