Join Our Purple Day® for Epilepsy 8th Annual Blog Hop & CALL OUT for Creative Caregivers Artwork of All Mediums!

It's that time of year ~ Purple Day® for Epilepsy, where we here at FiveSibes #LiveGibStrong advocate for the awareness and education about dogs living with Canine Epilepsy, and Purple Day is a day to share all things Epilepsy, both K9 and Human. And we have a lot of fun things going on to help educate and support others going through this journey, and we hope you'll join in!

First up...

I am so pleased to announce that, with the support of North Carolina State Companion Animal Epilepsy Research Lab (, and through my #Paws4Purple Canine Epilepsy Initiative with Purple Day® Every Day, we are excited to announce a Call-Out for "Creative Caregivers in Canine Epilepsy" submissions, and they can be your creative artwork, journal entries, essays, and photos relating in some manner to Epi-dog Caregiver Support that we will then put into a video format to share publicly via blog, social media, etc.!

As Julie Ann Nettifee  RVT, MS, VTS (Neurology) at North Carolina State Companion Animal Epilepsy Research Lab notes, "I know this journey can be so hard-but it also can be filled with connection, growth and other opportunities."

us help other Caregivers of Epi-dogs!

Information is just a keyboard click away! Be sure to check out our FREE FiveSibes #LiveGibStrong K9 Epilepsy Online Resource Library for links to lots of important information. You are not alone!
