Snow Globe of Memories on #FlashbackFriday

Snow Globe
by Dorothy Wills-Raftery
As the snow flakes gently fall
in glistening memories of yore,
I close my eyes oh-so-tight
wishing for so much more.
O' golden hours of summer
And fall's crisp days aglow
Such wonderful memories we made
Especially in winter's snow.
Time is much akin to snow
arriving in beauty and peace
giving precious moments of joy
before the snow visits cease.
Within that moment of quiet time
encased in our heart's glass dome
The spirit is so brightened
For you are forever home.
