Happy 150th Anniversary, ASPCA! Come Celebrate #ASPCA150 & Enter Giveaway!

Woo! This month, on April 10th, the ASPCA celebrated their 150th Anniversary! In honor of this very important milestone, the ASPCA launched 150 Days of Rescue, “a nationwide action campaign that seeks to unite the country in making a difference in the lives of homeless and abused animals.”

So how can we help the ASPCA celebrate?

It's simple! Just visit ASPCA.org/150days and pledge a little time to volunteer time and help animals in need from now until September 7 "with the goal of reaching 150,000 actions for animals in 150 days."

What are some ways to participate?

By volunteering at a local shelter/rescue.

Donating.

Fostering a shelter pet.

Adopting.

Start a fundraiser.

Contact your government representatives about an animal welfare issue.

Help educate others about shelter pets.

  2. What a great opportunity! I wonder if my mom would let me play with the beach ball if we win? Hm...
Our mom takes all kinds of "extras" to our local shelter - leashes, collars, towels, thank kind of stuff. Our great brothers Dave and Zim and our great sister Stormy all came from there!
    Yours sincerely,
