Meet "Max" ~ An Adoptable Retired Sled Dog!

Meet Handsome Max!

Stunning Max! Photo Provided.
Max is a stunning, well behaved, completely trained senior Siberian Husky who is 10 and currently hails from New Jersey. He is fully vetted and is seeking a loving, forever family! If you live within driving distance of New Jersey, maybe your home could be shared with handsome Max! A shelter volunteer met Max and fell in love with him and is working with Max’s current family to help find the perfect forever home for him.

Must Love Walks! Photo Provided.
According to Claudia, a volunteer at Heavenly Angels Animal Rescue in New York City, retired sled dog, Max loves long walks or runs (in the snow is a bonus)! He loves to give kisses, is good with other dogs (especially bonds with other male dogs), ignores cats (but is afraid of aggressive ones), and prefers to avoid toddlers. Claudia says Max has been assessed by a  trainer, and aside from a teeth cleaning, Max is reported to be in great health with an "amazing" personality!

Max Kisses! Photo Provided.
While he reportedly does not like a crate, and has some separation anxiety, a permanent loving home with someone experienced with the Siberian Husky breed could certainly put his Siberian Husky mind to ease! A little assurance and lots of love, Max would love to live out his golden canine years with someone special – or a family of special someones!

Silly Sibe! Photo Provided.

There is no rehoming fee for Max as it is a private rehoming, but a donation to Heavenly Angels Animal Rescue in New York City in Max's name is most welcome! A small price to pay to help a Husky in need, while helping other animals in need, too!

Am I going home with you? Photo Provided.

If you are interested in adopting Max, please contact Claudia via Email at: 16paws(AT)outlook(DOT)com today for an interview! Be sure to tell her FiveSibes sent you over to check out Max!

  1. Max is beautiful - he looks like a bigger version of our Angel Phantom. We hope he finds the perfect forever home soon.
