He's Coming Home...

Oh, how miss this beautiful boy. Two weeks today since I last held him, kissed his velvety nose, received his precious Gibbie kisses, and looked into those soulful blue eyes (with the one parti-eye that always made him look as though he was winking!). Today, Gibson's ashes are ready, and when we have our first beautiful gentle snowfall, he will become part of our land, the wind, and the snow, the home he loved, for always. Love you forever, my sweet Gibbie. My warrior. My K9 hero.

"I'm coming home
I'm coming home
Tell the world I'm coming home
Let the rain wash away all the pain of yesterday
I know my kingdom awaits...
I'm coming home, I'm coming home
Tell the world that I'm coming
I'm back where I belong..."

  7. I saw this a few days ago and I couldn't respond til today. I know you have 4 other dogs but knowing Gibs was your heart dog touched me on a deeper level. Kirby is my heart dog in so many ways that I can feel your loss. Many prayers are being sent as you cope with the days and nights you travel with his memory. May you feel a little stronger each moment that passes with the comfort that you will see him again. God bless.
