Lingering Joys on a Flashback Friday

This is the precious photo of two-year-old big brother Gibson giving a nuzzle to new little sister Chloe when she was just about 10 weeks old! I love this pic so much, you may recognize it...it's my FiveSibes Flashback Friday badge! Gibson was king of the deck when he used to be able to jump up on the bench and then climb onto the top of the log cabin style doghouse we kept out on the deck. He loved his perch so! When the Pupsters came along, they all tried bumping him off his perch, but wound up having to share the space. I'll always fondly remember these days!

Lingering Joys
The tide recedes, but leaves behind bright seashells on the sand.
The sun goes down, but gentle warmth
still lingers in the land,
The music stops, and yet it echoes on
in sweet refrains . . .
For every joy that passes, something
beautiful remains.
