Born on March 10, 2005, our beautiful alpha queen, pupster surrogate momma, and my daughter's and our first Siberian Husky, turns 14½ today! You may be wondering why are we celebrating her half birthday? Because, as heartbreaking as it is, we now know she will not be here in March to celebrate her 15th Birthday as I once had hoped. Wow, we learned a lot from this post - we did not know about woolies and getting wet or cold. Thanks for the info. HOpe you are all coping well with the deluge of snowfall. Ours all melted between yesterday and today - 65 here today.

Woolies are beautiful cousins of the American Eskimo. We love their longer flowing coats but were surprised to learn that their guard hairs are not more protective in wet and cold. Thanks for the new knowledge.
