It's Black Friday and We Have a Leash Review For You!

Happy Black Friday! The biggest holiday shopping day of the year is here! How many of you go out shopping today? Now while I, personally, will be spending the day home, relaxing with the Sibe kids, and doing shopping online, I have a great item we just finished testing and I want to share with you. 

It’s a fantastic leash by Zippy Paws called “Climbers” and it is made out of authentic mountain climbing rope!

I have to admit, I was skeptical at first when I opened the box and saw it was rope leash. My past experience with this style of leash was a constant rope burn to my hand, and I found it hard to control our Husky with it, and, if she pulled, it slid right through my hand. Not this leash! It's really awesome! The rope is made out of "real mountain climbing rope." That's pretty cool!

The first thing I noticed when I opened the package, was the terrific feel to the leash. Right away it felt…smooth and not at all like the one my daughter has for Chloe. It's strong, and does not twist and tangle up, either.

Now, whenever testing new leashes, especially with Huskies and any dogs who are strong or pullers, I always advise people to double leash… I actually do it with mine as a standard practice. (They wear a collar with a leash, and a harness with a leash). This keeps them safe should anything malfunction. I highly recommend doing this until you feel comfortable with using just the new leash, or, for added piece of mind, use the Zippy Paws Climbers leash as part of your double leash system! I will absolutely be ordering more of these leashes for my double set-up system, that’s how much I like them!

The quality is excellent. They come in two sizes, four-foot long and six-foot long. The one I tested was the latter and I really like the length of this. Six feet is the perfect length that allows enough space for letting them enjoy a stroll/walk/jog, yet long enough they do not get too far away.

This leash is a great gift idea, too!
