Spa Day Snow Furries Just Blowin' in the Wind...

"Woo...and there was water and a blowdryer..."

So today was "Spa Day" for four out of the FiveSibes (Chloe is still convalescing, so she escaped the dreaded bath!) Out of the four, two had baths and two had just the blow-outs and trim. (Gibson has been feeling under the weather due to a change in his epi-meds compound, so we excused him from the bath this time around).

It seems while us hu-family members really love it when the Sibe kids get all deep-cleaned and groomed, for them not so much. With lots of crying and howling (Wolf, above), thrashing around (Bandit), and a little grumbling (Harley), our groomer managed to get them all looking fluffy, clean, and beautiful!

The girls Harley and Bandit looking all pretty!

Gibson was trimmed up nice and neatly.

At the end of the day, what does Spa Day really mean? Here, where we have a groomer who does house calls, it means there's snow furries just blowin' in the wind...and across the deck, in the pool, over the grass, on the washline, in the neighbor's yard, on rooftops, hanging from laundry on the line, atop neighborhood pets, in the trees (help yourself, birdies), on the mailman, etc.

Would you like to see what was left behind when they were done being groomed? Now, keep in mind that this is just from four and they have been brushed and plucked daily...and, if you know anyone who would like to know about Huskies blowing their coats, you can always show them this:

 Got shed? We sure do!
Our motto here is:
 "Embrace (and taste) the fur!"

  1. Ha - we know all about that fluff here too. But we have to go to the groomer's place to get done. Mom says she would love a groomer who makes house calls - want to send yours our way?

The pups all look even more gorgeous than ever. Snooter smoochies to Chloe.

  8. Hey FiveSibes!
WOW, WOW, BOW, WOW! OMDAWWWWG that's a ton of sibe fur. Gosh, I'm gonna show this to my peeps so they'll quit complaining about my (small) piles of fur. I bet the birdies like to use that in their nests! So soft and pretty.
    Grr and Woof,

Hope Gibson is feeling better. and that Chloe is healing according to schedule...White Dog healing energies to both.

  11. We love the fluff at our house. Ok, the humans don't all that much but isn't it fun to leave bits and pieces of ourselves all over the house?:) We hope Gibson and Chloe feel better.

    Love,
    Teddy Bear & Sierra
