Happy Sweet 16 Dear Pupsters at the Rainbow Bridge 🌈✨πŸŽ‚πŸ•πŸ•πŸ•

Happy Sweet 16 Birthday North of the Rainbow Bridge, Dear Pupsters Chloe, Wolfie & Bandit

Wow. It's incredible to think that my beloved three "Pupsters" of my FiveSibes—Wolf, Chloe, and Bandit—would be turning 16 today. Oh, my, if they were here we'd be having such a big celebratory party!

Sweet 16 and always been kissed.

In my mind, they will be forever puppies...the three of them were best friends and siblings who were able to live their lives together forever  with our FiveSibes OGs Gibson and Harley. Now, they are all back together again, forever.

My furangel pupsters are 16!

Here is a pic of my Pupsters when we first brought them home in 2008!  Oh, gosh, be still this FiveSibesMom's heart...I remember this day so clearly...how elated I was to be going home with not one, but THREE puppies! I was on Cloud 9. I could not wait to get home and have Harley and Gibson meet them!

They were such adorable puppies!
3X the beauty, 3X the fun, 3X the Sibe shenanigans!

Woo! The Pupster's 1st Birthday!

Oh, birthdays were just so much fun! I'm not sure who was more excited...me, or the Huskies!

Happy Sweet 16th Birthday Wolfgang, Chloe, and Bandit;
my dear Pupsters. Enjoy some wonderful snow zoomies
with Harley and Gibson north of the Rainbow Bridge.
Know I love and miss you all forever.
Truthfully, I'm still trying to figure out
who I am without you here.
Now, go howl up a storm. Kick up some snow.
Enjoy some Husky huddles together,
and feel my love from here.

I Will Love You All for Always,
Your Forever FiveSibesMom.

In honor of their Sweet 16th Birthday, please give your pets 3x the extra hugs and smooches today...and a piece of homemade vanilla ice cream cake (their fave). And always remember, their time with us is not as long as we think...the years fly by.

Embrace Every Single Moment.

Cake time always the best time! Here the Pupsters were just 3!

Here's a #Flashback to 8 years ago when it was their 7th Birthday...

In case you noticed, there's a little bit of a theme here—cake. Always about the cake. The most fun on their birthdays was after the Birthday Sibes enjoyed the first licks of their ice cream cake, all five would join in! They loved it and were so wonderful together! I was truly blessed to have been their hu-mom. Forever they will be in my heart.

Enjoy those snow zoomies North of the Rainbow Bridge, my dear Pupsters!

I was always so proud of how Wolfie, Chloe, and Bandit bonded not only with each other, but with Harley and Gibson, too. Many times we hear that littermates "should not be together" and I'm here to say, Not True! I even wrote an article published in 4Knines about this! It was truly one of the best times of my life.

  2. Oh, Sweet 16! I took in a mom and litter of four 16 years ago and all of them stayed with me for medical reasons. I lost two of them last year, one before their 16th, and one on their 16th, then another in December, one sibling and mom left. But such wonderful memories, they will always be with us!

  5. Happy sweet 16! There's something so special about having siblings together and watching them grow. Our "puppies" had their sweet 16 on Jan. 2. Dog's lives are just too short. Thanks for sharing the memories. ♥

  7. Aww happy heavenly birthday to Chloe, Bandit and Wolfie. I didn't realize they all would have been the same age. How sweet sharing the happy times. This definitely makes my heart smile. Although still surreal and hard for you I'm sure, I'm sure it comforts you to know they are running wild and free and happy at Rainbow Bridge. May their never ending love continue to carry you through. Hugs.

  8. The photos of your pups always make me smile. They radiate enthusiasm and love for cake * grin * I know a Husky is powerful energy and to have three must have been so much fun although taking them for walks mst have been a mission (and a huge laugh). I can't believe thay would have been 16!!!

  9. What a beautiful way to celebrate Bandit, Chloe, and Wolfie's birthday! I always love your photos and videos. I'm so glad you documented your life with them so well.

You know, I hadn't heard that littermates couldn't live or be raised together. That seems odd. It's wonderful you wrote and article to put that one to rest. I like your advise of "throwing out the rulebook"! That must be top of the to-do list when raising multiple puppies and dogs.

I can't imagine them being separated. They were a pack with Gibson and Harley and I'm glad you recognized that from the start.

Sending you hugs as you look back on the happy birthday memories. It still sucks that dogs (and furry kids in general) can't live as long as a tortoise (or at least as long as we do). Super sweet tribute, Dorothy! I'm sharing with all my dog parents.

  10. Happy belated birthday to all the pupsters. Today would have been my girl's 16th birthday, too. Unfortunately, she just missed out on that one last birthday here on Earth with us as we said goodbye to her 2 weeks ago. We're still celebrating with her in spirit and spoiling the boys a little extra today.
