I love Flashback Fridays here at FiveSibes! It gives me that time to pause and look back over photos of the past years and relive some very special moments, although bittersweet at times since my sweet Gibson is no longer with us. But, seeing the photos and reliving those amazing moments truly puts a smile on my face. They were glorious moments, a very special time that will be part of my heart forever. I have been blessed to have these beautiful, loving and incredible dogs as part of my family, and what a wonderful life experience to have!   This photo is especially dear as I loved how my FiveSibes always enjoyed relaxing and snoozing near each other. They would always form what I referred to as the "Husky Train" by sleeping in a row next to each other. If I did not have the beds lined up, they would still position themselves in a row! So, I took their hint and always laid the beds down next to each other, per their instructions...

Today's Flashback Friday memory dates 12 years to 2005 when our alpha queen Harley joined our family at seven weeks old! She was a gorgeous blue-eyed beauty with a fierce mask that just stole our hearts! Harley was my daughter's dream dog - a Siberian Husky. Little did we know when we drove home from the city with our new family member, who slept the whole way home in a torrential rain storm, that she would grow up to rule the future family of FiveSibes! Harley would become the instant love of our second Husky, my beautiful fluffy wooly boy, Gibson; and the amazing surrogate momma to our Pupsters Wolf, Chloe, and Bandit. Today, at 12.5 years young - she still is the boss and every bit active as she can be. Christmastime has always been a favorite, special, and fun time of year for my family; from my childhood home to the present. The FiveSibes have always added so much happiness and laughter to our lives, and they have enjoyed Christmas just as much as we have! I am so thankful for all the memories. In this video from Christmas 2013, my boys Gibson and Wolf kept me company while wrapping presents under the tree. And, as you can see, Wolf the forever sleepyhead was busy snoozing while big brother Gibson was my silly Elf, "helping" me wrap!  They always pick up on the excitement as THE day draws near...enjoying the decorating, getting and sending cards, and eating doggie treats while we baked. And to this day, laying under the tree and gazing at the twinkling lights is still a favorite past time of theirs...and one I love to watch as it reminds of all the love, peace, warmth, and joy this season is really about.
