Today is Pupster Chloe's 7th Rainbow Bridge Anniversary

Image
Our beautiful #pupster and chatty chowhound, “Chloe,” the absolute sweetheart of our #FiveSibes who never met a treat or food she didn’t like, made her sudden journey to the #RainbowBridge 7 years ago today due to sudden liver failure.  I think Mother Nature knew as it rained all day here, like tears from Heaven.    ☔️   🐕 Chloe was my daughter’s baby, and while I prefer to focus today on her beauty, charm, loyalty, sweetness, great enthusiasm to talk and eat…and oh, how she rallied back after two emergency CCL surgeries after blowing them out at the same time.  What an amazing patient she was after that scary surgery...when we carried her in, but with the aid of a sling harness, she walked out two days later on rebuilt hind legs. She was truly an ideal patient, and healed well under my daughter’s care.    I still felt the need to recognize today, the day she had suddenly earned her wings after she stopped doing what she loved ...

Remembering Our Sweet Chatty Pupster, Chloe

Image
"You left your sweet pawprints on our hearts."   ~Dorothy "FiveSibesMom" There wasn't a sweeter dog. This girl, although the chattiest of our FiveSibes, and the loudest of our #Pupsters trio, she was the sweetest, most easy going dog. She loved her meals and treats and would let know - loudly, impatiently, and continuously - that she wanted them, and now! BOL! She would sit like an angel and verbalize her wishes until the dish or treat was given to her! When my first grandchild arrived, she would lay in her dog bed in the living room and watch him play and eventually walk, and drop his yogurt bites!  Chloe with my grandson!   Sadly, that was the first clue when she became suddenly ill. She didn't want any snacks. Then she turned her nose away from food. At first, I thought it was just a tummy bug as they all had from time to time. Plus, she had just had her annual check-up four month prior and all was perfect. So, needless to say, when she stopped eating a...

#FBF: Sibe Strolling In the Snow

Image
FiveSibes Flashback ~ Wolfie ~ February 2022   "You are no longer where you were, but you are everywhere that I am." ~Victor Hugo   Oh, how I loved walks with my Huskies. Even more so when they were snowy walks. Pictured here, is Wolfie, and oh, he just loved the snow, as did all of my FiveSibes. Snow walks were the absolute best! Now, whenever it snows, I always think of my beloved FiveSibes having snow zoomies across our backyard, or going for pack walks in the fluffy white snow. Then there were the precious walks with Wolfie and Bandit after we moved and we were able to have mini-adventures exploring the new land all around us. Then one day, it was just me and my baby boy, and the great snowy north country strolls that helped to soothe both of our grieving souls. Now those strolls are no more, but all of these precious memories I will always hold dear, especially as the snow flies.     💛 Memories Are Visits For the Heart 💛       Join Us...

Wolf's Nap-A-Long With Lamb Chop on a #FlashbackFriday

Image
#Flashback ~ Wolf ~ 2015   Oh, my sweet baby boy, Wolfie. He sure did love to make himself comfy on my bed at night, typically beating me there and finding *his* spot (which usually meant in the middle of a queen-sized bed!) and he loved to have his Lamb Chop nearby! This, was taken in the morning, when as you can see, he gave me the Husky side-eye, and then followed by some wooing, letting me know he was too comfy to get up! I always said he was just like a teenager! 💙 This seems like just yesterday. Oh, how I miss my bed hog! Embrace all of your moments! " Those were the days, my friend We thought they'd never end We'd sing and dance forever and a day." ~Gene Raskin   What do you think Wolfie was thinking?!      💛 Memories Are Visits For the Heart 💛       The Linky tool will open all week for you to join us in the Blog Hop and share pics from yesteryear or yesterday, include our badge and *link back to us*, and  be sure to hop along...

One Year Later: I Miss You, My Wolfie 💙

FiveSibes Wolfgang White Wolf of Mystic Mountain “To live in hearts we leave behind is not to die.” ~ Thomas Campbell    One year. One full year. 365 days. How is it possible that my baby boy of the FiveSibes is no longer with me? I can still hear his woos and feel his soft silky white fur between my fingers as he lay next to me (hogging up the bed!). I always said he was my "teenager," as he loved to sleep in!   How is that all of my FiveSibes are all furangels now? Time is so surreal and fleeting. While we are in the middle of happiness, time just rolls on by. Yesterday, we were all together, laughing, wooing, and playing together, the future so far away. They were running like the wind across our yard, zoomies in unison, with Bandit "Husky surfing" across Gibson's back. Harley taking off with the Fetch ball and playing until all the others, myself included were sitting down exhausted, she still wanting to play again, and again, and again! The three Pupsters-...
