You know how much we love books here! Besides being an author, I'm an avid reader since, well birth! And when a good canine book comes along, I love to share it! Today, we are reviewing Jewel Mathieson's second book featuring her beautiful colored pencil medium style of artwork of beautiful snow dogs! Jewel is a very talented self-taught artist hailing from New Zealand, and I am honored and thrilled that she chose my Gibson to be one of the amazing dogs featured in her second book,  Indomitable Spirit. SOOOOO excited...Wednesday is the day! Yes! Tomorrow we find out if our first grandbaby, the FiveSibes hu-sibling, is a boy or girl! Did I mention I was SOOOOO excited???!!! Stay tuned!  

Wow! It's a special newsy Tuesday as we here at FiveSibes are celebrating our SIXTH Blogiversary this month! As a photojournalist by trade, I was inspired to start blogging by my five Siberian Huskies: Harely, Gibson, Wolfgang, Chloe, and Bandit. Their personalities and antics and our love of the breed spurred me to begin writing about them.  My first blog post February 23, 2010 My very first FiveSibes blog post was on February 23, 2010 with an article on proper dental care for Pet Dental Health Month. Blogging is an something I enjoy very much. I love to write and I love being a photographer. This blog gives me the opportunity to share my work in the pet arena...and I have fabulous models in the FiveSibes! I enjoy sharing stories about their lives, and bringing information about the Siberian Husky breed as well as healthcare issues, diet and nutrition, and holistic and traditional therapies that benefits not only Huskies, but all dogs.
