Love Is Sharing A Chair With A #SiberianHusky Lap Dog!

 Flashback Photo ~ FiveSibes "Bandit" ~ 2017

So, there I was, watching some TV while my four FiveSibes Harley, and pupsters Wolf, Chloe, and Bandit were snoozing on their beds around me in the living room. When suddenly, "oompf!" I had a 55-pound Bandit up on my lap making herself right at home! Now Bandit was not into big displays of affection, and she is the one who could drive a human nuts at times, but when she wanted some lovin' she made it clear! She would roll on her back and just enjoy belly rubs. So when she wanted lovin', I was all too happy to reciprocate. Besides, she really didn't give me a choice, like, how do you barter with a Husky?! They usually won. I mean, who could resist those blue eyes?  (It's a Husky things, trust me.) I loved it when she would decide to join me on a chair! But, truth be told, I really think she thought of my chair as hers and decided not to wait for me to vacate it! She did this quite often...so I guess she didn't get the hint that it was my chair! But sharing is caring, and how I wish I could share one more chair with her. Embrace every moment, even those when your pup is trying to share (push you out of) a chair!

Do you have an oversized lap dog who loves to share a chair with you?

  3. Oh what a fun flashback memory with Harley! That would certainly be a big OOMPF! Those are some of the best moments without a doubt. Henry has his moments when he needs his snuggles. He's not 55 lbs, and I generally don't mind at all. But he is a major heat generator. That's perfect in the winter, but when it's already hot or when he has on his cooling vest I'm got to be willing to accept the side effects of the snuggle (heat and wet). Right now he's laying next to me, which is perfect! His general position. I get to pet him. He knows I'm still here, and I can still work on my laptop. Oh, and he keeps in me in-line. ;)

I really do love your flashback Fridays. Thank you so much for sharing them. I'm so happy you have so many wonderful photos and videos. You definitely are carrying on their legend, Dorothy.

  5. Oh you made me laugh! Huskies must be so HUGE and take up so much space!!! They are amazing dogs aren't they and those eyes. I don't think I could move with all that weight on top of me. Our Teddy is over 7 Kgs and he takes my breath away so I would be yelling HHEEELLppppppp very faintly!!!!
