A New Purple Pumpkin in Our #LiveGibStrong Patch!
A s an ambassador for awareness for dogs living with epilepsy (Epi-dogs) since 2012, I love to look for a purple pumpkin this time of year in honor of my Gibson and all other Epi-dogs. And, wow! Did I find a beauty! (The crystal pumpkin is lying by my beautiful Siberian Husky lamp that was a gift to me from my hubby years ago. Sorry, it's been discontinued!)
Why is a purple pumpkin so important? Because purple is the color of epilepsy awareness, and on Halloween when you see a purple pumpkin, it's most likely a participant in the Epilepsy Foundations "Purple Pumpkin Project." You can read all about the Project - and download a FREE Gibson & his purple pumpkin coloring page HERE.
I had actually kept it in my cart and kept going back to it as I wasn't sure if it was too small, or high quality, and I'm so glad I hit the button to purchase! It is wonderful to put out on a desk or dresser, or in a curio cabinet. Made very well and not weak or flimsy at all. Now, the crystal stem is sturdy, but be careful not to pull it out of the box by the stem because glass can break. Mine was perfect! The packaging was wonderful and kept it very safe. I highly recommend!
I
definitely love this pretty little purple pumpkin! If you are looking to
add a purple pumpkin to your collection, I highly recommend checking
this one out!
As for size:
If you'd like to get one of these beauties from H&D (Hyaline & Dora), you can from HERE!
The purple pumpkin is really so very pretty. And with one of our Angels having had epilepsy, we love the connection. Happy Sunday.
