FiveSibes: Red Nose Day to Help End Child Poverty
Is your nose red? Don a red nose—like my FiveSibes did in 2017— in support of ending child poverty across the globe. Together, we can be the change for children in need by joining together to reach Red Nose Day's then goal to "end child poverty--one nose at a time." Here, at FiveSibes, our Huskies joined us humans in spreading the word and mission. We hope you will, too!
Did you know?
Today, Red Nose Day does even more. They believe in creating a healthy future for children. How? Within "holistic balance" of their four pillars:
1. Safe,
2. Healthy,
3. Educated, and
4. Empowered.
According to the organization, "In nine years, we’ve raised more than $324 million to help end child poverty and positively impacted over 32 million children in America and around the world."
We can do even more! For more info on how you can help "End Child Poverty" by donating, fundraising, holding informative events, and to check out what the celebrities are doing to help, visit the official Red Nose Day website HERE. We hope our amazing pet-loving community joins together to help our human children to live with joy and love, and to one day never know what poverty is.
An added bonus for this year, make a donation on their website HERE on the 25th (until midnight) and they will double the donation
Such an important and fun day. Love all those red noses!!!
ReplyDeleteSorry, I forgot to say thanks for joining our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!
ReplyDeleteThank you for reminding us of this important day.
ReplyDeleteWOW!!! What a powerful organization. I've seen the Red Nose Day advertised I just didn't realize how impactful they, including you, have been in feeding hungry kids. What an awesome organization! I love how it's so unassuming with the silly red noses yet it's really doing some great work. No kid should be hungry. Heck, no one should be hungry. And I just LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the FiveSibes Red Noses. They couldn't be more adorable. Well, I say that and then you share another photo that makes me go "awwwwww!" I'm sharing this will ALL my parents! And let's hope in the very near future there won't even be a need for Red Nose Day because all kids will have a full belly - and all people will as well.
ReplyDeleteSo important as children all over the world should not suffer, thanks for reminding us about Red Nose Day as it should be every day. Great post as always
ReplyDeleteThe way we neglect our future and the education of our children is truly dreadful. Not enough care for ALL children, not just the rich!
