Happy Howl-o-ween! K9 & Feline Pumpkin Stencils & #FiveSibes Safety Tips!

BooooWooooooo! It's that spooktacular time of  year ~ Howl-o-ween. Today's #FlashbackFriday is a nod to our #FiveSibes Halloweens of the past circa 2011 - 2013, including two pumpkins I used stencils to carve out a Husky on. I think they came out pretty good! Above is our alpha queen "Harley" and next to her in the middle of my family's carved jack o'lanterns, is my running Husky pumpkin. And below with Chloe is my Siberian Husky head. Now, I am not the most creative pumpkin carver, but I sure did have fun. I cannot believe these were 10 years ago now. If you like carving pet images into pumpkins, the Stencil info is below, and the stencil I used for the running Husky is PumpkinGraphic8. I'm also including stencils for our furfriends in of other breeds and our cat pals, too! So be sure to scroll down for links to the pumpkin carving stencils!

I have to send a "thank woo" to Tails of the Tundra Siberian Husky Rescue (who have now closed) for sharing their FREE stencils so folks can create their own Siberian Husky pumpkins. I'm sharing below links to get to those stencils in case you and yours would like to carve some. If you like the Husky head above I did, it is the PumpkinGraphic7 (I didn't have enough room for the Woo, so I did just the head).

Simply click on the image above to go to the TOTTSHR page that has links to all of these stencils!

Five Little Pumpkins
by Unknown

Five little pumpkins sitting on a gate;
The first one said, "Oh my it's getting late."
The second one said, "There are witches in the air."
The third one said, "But I don't care."
The fourth one said, "I'm ready for some fun!"
The fifth one said, "Let's run and run and run."
"Woooo" went the wind,
And out went the lights
And the five little pumpkins rolled out of sight.

  6. What a terrific idea! You did a wonderful job carving a running husky and a husky head! I'm always impressed the creativity of people. I absolutely LOVE the photos of Harley, Chloe, Bandit, and Gibson! So adorable! Your tips, as always, are truly spot-on. It boggles my mind when people take their dogs trick or treating and think it's funny when their poor dog is frightened by the scary noises or outfits. I'm sharing your article with all my dog parents and I hope they take your tips to heart.
