You're Invited! We Want To Know What You're Dog's Thinking!
Wolf with an invite "thought bubble!" |
Many of you have seen the recent hottest trend in pet photos that crossing TV screens and the Internet and is called "shaming"... it's where there are photos of pets with white signs and text - or text written over the photo - that explains what the pet in the photo could be doing or could have done or is thinking. We decided here we'd like to create a slideshow video showing our pets in all of their glory by hosting a "Things Our Dog Are Thinking" as opposed to "Shaming" (because we really don't like that title). We are never ashamed of our dogs for doing what comes naturally to them (including chewing up our window sills, sunglasses, shoes, and deck rails), but they do do some silly, funny, and creative antics that we can all relate to as pet parents, and I thought it would be fun to create a video parade of our pets with their "thought bubbles!"
So join us! Send us your pet's pics - whether they are eating a shoe (Thought bubble might say, "I didn't like that style shoe.") or caught in the act of eating treats (Thought bubble might say, "But I thought they were all mine. You did say you bought ME treats."), or giving us a silly expression (Thought bubble might say, "Really, Mom. You expect me to do what...?)...you get the idea! Whatever photo you choose or take, let's keep it family-rated and have fun with your pet and being creative! And, please, don't have your pet do anything that could cause him/her harm or to be sick.
Event Details: Deadline for photo submissions is 11:59 PM EST on October 27th. Please Email your pic(s) to FiveSibes(at)gmail(dot)com and put "Dog Thinking" in the subject line. Don't forget add your thought bubble, and to list your pet's name, and include state/country in the Email. Your submitting your pet's photo is permission for us to use it in the slideshow video, which will be shared on YouTube, here, Twitter, and on our FiveSibes: Siberian Husky K9 News & Reviews Facebook page.
Let's have some fun thinking with our pets!
That's a good idea! I hadn't liked how it was called shaming either. Glad you're giving it a nice twist. We will have to brainstorm on this one!
ReplyDeleteIt might take My Vickie a bit to find the right photo but we think it is a fun idea to and we want to play.

hey FiveSibes,
ReplyDeleteWhat a pawsome idea! I definitely would like to pawticipate! I just hope my human's creative mind is working. ;->
I and my human never liked it called "shaming" either. Your mom is correct, humans should never be ashamed of us lovely doggies! We only know what we are taught, and the rest is natural instinct. There is no shame in that.
I can't wait to see the video. Dog bloggers are so funny so I know it will be great!
