A Hero Arrives in Heaven

Hero, a forever symbol of hope & awareness. It is with sadness that I must relay that final update on Hero, the Christmas pup. The sweet little boy who was a real fighter, earned his wings this evening and has crossed the Rainbow Bridge. May he run free and healthy North of the Rainbow Bridge. He will always serve as our beacon and symbol of hope and seizure awareness. To honor his fight, we will all carry with us how this wonderful little Husky pup brought a worldwide pet community to join together for the greater cause - helping a helpless animal. Helping a Hero

They can be real, or they can be fictional. In any case, sometimes even a Hero needs saving. And one sweet beautiful little Siberian Husky pup, named "Hero" needs our help.  Do you know the story of Hero, the Christmas pup? Just a few days after this past Christmas, a sweet little Siberian Husky puppy was left at a shelter in California. A rescue stepped in to save him and believes "This poor little baby was obviously someone's Christmas present only to find himself abandoned..."   The rescue folks at Alley's Rescued Siberian Angels discovered that the puppy was only about five weeks old, too young to have been taken away from it's mother, and was experiencing seizures...and even had one as the rescue was bringing him to the vet's office for an exam.   The Pupsters had a fun fourth birthday filled with ice cream cake, toys, and treats...and a Birthday Book Giveaway! Let it Snow...Finally!

All I have to say is there is just one equation to sum it all up:   Snow = Happy Huskies! It was an afternoon of great play here! We wish for lots of snow for all of our furpals to play in!
